This is definitely not low by any standards. However as I have stated, the employer can make you work for extra hours. However you will have to work for 40 hours a week. For rest of the hours you will be paid extra money.  The rate of payment for the extra hours is also high. You will be paid one and half times more for every extra hour you will work.

3. Employment at will
The employment at will means that you can be thrown out of the office without any prior notice. However you will have to question the employer if you find no reason. Let me explain this law to you. As far as this law is concerned, you will be thrown out for some of the reason which is found to be legal. Generally if you are found guilty regarding some laws being written in the contract, then only you will be punished.

4. Child labor laws
Let me tell you that the child labor laws are definitely quite popular. Those children who are below 14 years of age are not allowed to work. But those children who are below 16 years of age and above 14 years of age have to work for not more than 20 hours per week. If any employer asks any child to work for more hours then it is definitely against the laws.
